• Information you give us: your email address when you join our waitlist; your name, business name, email, and phone number when you submit a wholesale inquiry; and your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and order details when you place an order.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Information collected automatically: like most websites, we collect basic usage data (pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address) through cookies and similar technologies.

• To fulfill and deliver your orders and provide customer support
• To send you updates about Hanu Water if you've signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
• To respond to wholesale and business inquiries
• To understand how our website is used and improve it
• To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their service to us:

• Shopify: online store, checkout, and payment processing
• Klaviyo: email updates and our waitlist
• HubSpot: wholesale inquiry management
• Google Analytics: website analytics (we never send your name, email, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics)
• Vercel: website hosting

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use cookies for site functionality, checkout, and analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features (like checkout) may not work without them. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@hanuwater.com. We'll respond within 45 days, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

California residents: you have the rights described above, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do).

We keep order records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our products contain caffeine and are not intended for children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
